We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with carbon markets experience to join this dynamic area of ERM.

Key Responsibilities :
- Sales and Revenue Generation :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and approach potential clients to sell carbon credit solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the carbon credit market.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Business Development :
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments for carbon credit sales.
- Work with ERM international network of subject matter experts to drive revenue generation and pipeline growth for ERM Climate Markets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies.
- Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.
- Reporting and Analysis :
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management.
- Provide market feedback and insights to help refine product offerings and sales strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, and 2 years' experience in the carbon markets.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of carbon credits, carbon markets, and environmental sustainability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Collaborative team member with an awareness of key risk considerations in the carbon markets
