Senior UX Designer
We’re seeking a seasoned Senior UX Designer to help transform and modernize our entire member-facing digital experience. In this role, you'll play a key part in reimagining application workflows, enhancing usability, and evolving our design system in alignment with business goals and user needs.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across business units to deliver thoughtful, strategic, and user-centered design solutions that drive real impact—across web, mobile, and internal platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and evolve a robust, established design system—ensuring consistency, scalability, and usability across all digital platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to overhaul application workflows as part of a major digital transformation initiative
- Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for user-centered design across all digital touchpoints (.org site, account origination, online / mobile banking, marketing microsites, etc.)
- Deliver architectural UX assets including user journeys, task flows, wireframes, visual comps, interactive prototypes, and production-ready interfaces using Figma
- Understand and work within the technical constraints and opportunities of Salesforce Lightning—experience in Salesforce environments is highly preferred
- Partner with business analysts, content strategists, and digital analysts to define and drive UX-related business requirements
- Conduct usability testing, contextual inquiries, and user research—translate findings into actionable design improvements
- Contribute to the strategic evolution of our digital experience by informing leadership decisions with user insights and design expertise
- Translate executive and departmental vision into concrete, high-quality UX deliverables
- Collaborate closely with fellow designers and developers to maintain and expand the design system and UX standards
- Independently manage design initiatives across one or two key business units—understanding their objectives, KPIs, and pain points to deliver tailored digital solutions
- Advocate for strong UX practices and design decisions—comfortable educating stakeholders, pushing back when needed, and working outside of traditional reporting structures
Preferred Qualifications
