QA Engineer III (Work From Home)

Job Title : QA Engineer III

Compensation : $80,000 to $105,000

Location : Remote

The Job :

Buildertrend is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer III to work as a team responsible for ensuring a problem-free, intuitive user experience for our clients.

These analysts execute software testing, troubleshoot bugs, and work closely with developers to resolve and prevent issues.

What You Will Do :

• Add new tests and expand the automation test suite.
• Update existing tests in the automation test suite.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automated tests using open-source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product analysts) to identify system requirements.
• Track quality assurance metrics.
• Administer and maintain all automation scripts and review all product changes and coordinate with developers to provide efficient feedback and partner with manual test team to implement al manual test cases.
• Monitor all application concepts and identify all automation process and recommend an appropriate automation framework and evaluate all scripts and recommend changes as per requirement.
• Monitor all automation processes and prepare status reports for all progress and document all automation processes and deign an efficient automation framework for all web products.

Who you are and what you need :

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• At least 4 years of QA experience.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with payment processing, insurance, lending, or other financial services products.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards impacting design and user experience.
• Previous work in SaaS platforms, particularly in construction or related industries.
