Copeland Oaks : Our Story

Copeland Oaks is a senior community for adults 55 and older in every stage of living - all in one beautiful village-like setting.

Located in Sebring in northeast Ohio at the crossroads of Mahoning, Columbiana and Stark counties. It's an ideal blend of serene country living with the conveniences of nearby city life.

We offer complete independent living with added options ranging from light housekeeping and meals to memory care and skilled nursing assistance.

As a Chaplain at Copeland Oaks, you will be responsible for providing spiritual guidance and support to our residents on a day-to-day basis.

This includes conducting religious services, offering pastoral care during times of need, and building relationships with residents to understand their unique spiritual needs.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the holistic well-being of our residents, providing comfort and support as they navigate their journey in our Continuing Care Retirement Community.

Your presence and dedication will be vital in creating a warm and welcoming environment for all who call Copeland Oaks home.

To excel as a Chaplain at Copeland Oaks, you should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with residents from diverse backgrounds.

Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude are crucial in providing meaningful spiritual care. The ability to actively listen, offer emotional support, and maintain confidentiality is essential in building trusting relationships with residents.

Strong organizational skills to manage your time effectively, along with the flexibility to adapt to residents' varying needs, will contribute to your success in this role.

A deep understanding and respect for different faith traditions and a commitment to promoting a sense of community and belonging are key qualities we look for in our Chaplains.

Qualified candidates must be an ordained or licensed minister with formal theological education.
