Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Oakland, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Lead execution of significant rail / transit project delivery.

Demonstrated expertise in the area of managing and preparing transportation project teams.

Participates in interdisciplinary review of projects deliverables.

Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

Prepares technical specification sections

Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Establish relationships with local agencies and be a visible leader / trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM’s values both internally and externally.

A desire to work with external contractors / consultants, AECOM’s other divisions / regions and interact directly with major clients local and globally.

Manage staff and tasks associated with rail / transit contracts.

Support various rail professional services pursuits related to major rail capital programs including light rail, heavy rail, or commuter rail.

Manage multidiscipline teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget on multi-million tasks or projects.

Lead meetings with clients and stakeholders.

Mentor junior to mid-level staff.

Responsible for the whole project lifecycle from planning, design, procurement, construction, integration, commissioning, and closeout.

Develop and maintain the project execution plan for assigned projects.

Investigate, negotiate, and resolve project issues.
