Position : Customer Service Representative

Pay rate : $28.25 (10% premium for graveyard shifts worked)

Hours : Part-time / Must be flexible / will also need to be available to cover shifts when needed.

The Spirit of the Position :

The customer service team is the direct link between our customers, our client, and our business. Our Customer Service Representatives are essential to our success because they retain and extract more value from customers and deliver top-notch service that cultivates loyalty and promotes referral business.

What will I do?

  • Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned daily.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and proactively address issues / complaints through an intercom from a central location.
  • Greet customers, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
  • Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to always help.
  • Assist customers with transactions.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with coworkers and colleagues in a combined effort to maximize garage / lot operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure adherence to rules of conduct, policies and procedures as needed.
  • Physical patrols of the location
  • Traffic Control (Guide customers with their parking).
  • Assist with any special assignments and projects as requested.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • Be available for shift coverage with a day’s notice.
  • Availability on major holidays is essential.

Education :

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience :

  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and general MS Office applications.
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Skills :

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to problem solve and handle customer complaints and concerns professionally.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Requires good time management skills - ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands :

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs and ramps.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying garbage bins during graveyard shifts.
  • Life and move trash bags and push dumpsters as needed.
