Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours / week) school year position running from July 29, 2024, to May 23, 2025. The Occupational Therapist will provide essential services to students with disabilities to help them improve their functional skills for daily living and participation in school.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for students (approximately 15-20 hours per week).
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Complete evaluations, data collection, report writing, and other related tasks.
Qualifications :
- Must possess a valid Georgia Occupational Therapy License (GA OT).
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and intervention.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Schedule :
Onsite Only : This position requires working directly with students in their school environments within Augusta, GA. Daily start and end times will be determined based on the assigned school location.
Compensation & Benefits :
Competitive salary of $38+ per hour.
