Job Description :

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Scheduler to join our team! In this role you will get to create and maintain a program schedule that integrates traditional Earned Value Management and Agile Development.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Develops, establishes, and maintains all aspects of the planning / scheduling effort on one or more of the larger, more complex and demanding projects
  • Incumbent utilizes his / her broad experience, expertise, and exposure to various types of company projects and clients.
  • The successful candidate will be a part of the Project Controls organization reporting to the Scheduling Manager
  • Work with individuals within the project to ensure accurate and timely report of project progress
  • Perform weekly and monthly schedule updates to support monthly reporting both internally and to the client
  • Review and evaluate the Critical Path and suggested mitigation strategies
  • Perform planning support for Control Account Managers (CAMS)
  • Coordinate any needed vendor / subcontractor schedules within the Integrated Master Project Schedule
  • Evaluate any needed changes while maintaining baseline control. May perform time impact analysis of project schedule delays as needed
  • Perform and prepare earned value analyses including narratives or summaries to present to Project Manager and client

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

  • 4 year degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or engineering or related field experience and 10-12 years of related work experience
  • Proficient PC skills including a working knowledge of various software within the Microsoft Office Suite to support your role
  • Microsoft Project experience is a must
  • Experience with reporting the schedule at different levels and view
  • Experience with a resource loaded schedule and maintaining baseline control is preferred
  • Working knowledge of EVMS Standard (EIA 748-D)
  • Basic understanding of Agile Practices
  • Team member - dedicated to working and coordinating with others
  • Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in a job assignment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely - both written and oral
  • Demonstration of any other qualifications deemed necessary for the successful performance of duties in this particular position

Salary Range :

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
