Experience : 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in emergency nursing
License : Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Certifications :
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (within 6 months of hire) OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (within 6 months of hire)
Must-Have :
- NIH Stroke Scale Certificate
- Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred
Job Description :
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency room to critically ill and injured patients.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and medical staff.
- Collaborate in a team environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure all clinical documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
