Amtec Staffing has partnered with a premier Concrete Construction contractor based in the East Memphis area to find an experienced Lead Estimator to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company recognized for its high-quality work across large-scale commercial and industrial concrete projects throughout the Mid-South region.

Project Types : Commercial Concrete

  • Heavy Industrial
  • Structural Foundations

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial concrete projects
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure estimates reflect project needs
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Develop budgets, schedules, and cost reports to support project bids
  • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the commercial construction industry (concrete experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials for concrete work
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
