We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals of all ages improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life through effective speech therapy.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while providing essential services to our clients.

As a virtual SLP, you will use telehealth technology to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.

You will collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create tailored therapy plans that promote progress and empower clients to achieve their speech and language goals.

Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit the unique needs of each client.

Job Description

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate patients' speech and language abilities.
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment programs.
  • Provide counseling to patients and patients’ families about results of testing and recommended treatment options.
  • Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.
  • Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.
  • Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate.
  • Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines.
  • Refer patients to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields

License or Certification :

Must be in possession of current SLP certificate on or before the first day of employment.

CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License

Education, Training and Experience :

Minimum requirement : Associate degree in and / or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology certificate program.

Experience is preferred but not required.
