We are seeking a Sr. Product Support Manager to provide support to our Navy customer located in our Washington, DC office .
Candidate will work with the logistics and production teams in the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program to generate schedules, recommendations, plans, performance metrics, and briefs to support overall product support management.
Position is a Hybrid in DC .
What will you do?
Responsibilities :
- Administer all aspects of Integrated Product Support (IPS), in accordance with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) IPS Element Guidebook, to include Product Support Management (PSM), Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, and Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T).
- Support the development and maintenance of the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan.
- Provide support in the areas of Product Support Analysis and Logistics Product Data.
- Manage the creation of product support artifacts and prime contractor deliverables to help enable integration on intended platforms.
- Make recommendations and prepare metrics to ensure fleet training requirements are met.
- Brief senior military and Government civilian officials on relevant product support and production issues.
Do you have what it takes?
Required skills :
- Must have active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to sustain one.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least (11) years of professional experience, or, a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least (10) years of professional experience, or, at least (15) years of demonstrated experience in these specific task areas.
- Must have Product Support Management experience.
- Proficient at technical writing and generating / writing requirements.
- Prior Navy Logistics, Navy PEO IWS, Product Support for high dollar combat systems experience.
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite to include PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Candidate must exhibit high attention to detail and be able to think critically to provide solutions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to operate on short deadlines.
- Must have experience with DoD 5000 Series.
Preferred skills :
- Any Naval product support management experience.
- Some travel involved.
Pay Range : VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $125,000.00 - 175,000.00 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location.
When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
