About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Operating Room - Neuro / ENT Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not Provided Experience : 2 years of OR RN experience required License : Nebraska RN License Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : Predominantly 3 / 4 in Ortho and / or Neuro skill sets- Experience with a majority of the following cases : Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, DaVinci cases- DaVinci experience highly preferred- Oncology, Ortho, Neuro experience highly preferred- First-time travelers not accepted Job Description : Operating Room RN for day shift with possible night shift rotation- Weeknight call requirements : 1-2 nights per week on average- Weekend call requirements : Approximately every 4-5 weeks (24 hours on Saturday or Sunday, 1-2 days per month)- Block schedule cannot be accommodated- Must attend all mandatory orientations and a charting class during the orientation week- Mandatory Steele gray scrubs with facility logo;
- OR scrubs are provided- Possibility for off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week schedule period- Work week is Monday-Sunday;
contracts must end on a Sunday- Facility is 100% nicotine-free; nicotine use risks immediate termination- Two weekends required in a four-week schedule period (Saturday / Sunday for day shift, Friday / Saturday for night shift)Please ensure all requirements and orientation schedules are adhered to for a successful assignment.
