In-Home Sales Representative
Lakewood, Washington Full Time
- Drives to customers homes on pre-scheduled appointments.
- Builds rapport with customer and determines their desired outcomes.
- Carefully examines the customers home to provide an accurate diagnosis of the issues.
- Provides necessary recommendations to the customer that will resolve such issues.
- Closes the sale with the customer.
- Follows up with the customer as needed.
- Provides customers with a exceptional experience.
- Attends the weekly sales meeting and other required meetings.
- Is an ambassador for the companys culture and purpose.
- Drives for the company in a safe manner.
- Regular, reliable on-site attendance.
POSITION SUMMARY
Has a primary duty of making sales for the company. Is customarily and regularly engaged at customers homes and away from the companys place of business.
This position is under the FLSA and reports to the Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of sales, marketing, and / or customer service principles and practices.
- Knowledge of construction principles and practices preferred.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
- Skill in operating a personal computer and programs.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English, including presentation skills.
- Ability to detect / recognize information in written materials or on computer screen up to 75% of the time.
- Associates or bachelors degree preferred and 2+ years of sales, sales training, or sales management experience OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
- Ability to exert up to 20 lb. of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
- Ability to move about and move to / from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces.
- A valid drivers license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
