Part-Time Job Opportunity Responsibilities :
- Set up and manage the registration desk at the conference venue
- Greet attendees warmly and provide a positive first impression of the event
- Assist attendees with the registration process, guiding them through on-site registration and check-in procedures
- Distribute conference materials, badges and any relevant information
- Accurately input attendee information into the registration system
- Verify and update attendee details as needed, ensuring accuracy in all records
- Assist in generating attendee badges, personalized schedules and other materials
- Address attendee inquiries and concerns related to registration, payments and conference logistics
- Troubleshoot and resolve any registration issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other team members to find solutions to unexpected challenges
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting attendees with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Offer information about the conference schedule, sessions, speakers and event logistics
- Manage attendee queues to ensure a smooth flow of registration and check-in processes
- Anticipate peak registration times and implement strategies to minimize wait times
- Coordinate with other conference team members, including event planners, volunteers and vendors
- Communicate effectively to share updates and relevant information with the team
- Maintain accurate records of on-site registrations, payments and attendance numbers
- Provide post-event reports related to registration data and attendee feedback
Part-Time Job Opportunity Requirements :
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in a consumer facing role customer service, retail, hospitality, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Proficiency in using computers and registration software
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings and evenings, as required by the conference schedule
