About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Nuclear Medicine

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (06 : 30 - 15 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 1 year in nuclear medicine

License : Medical Radiologic Technology License from the State of Texas

Certifications : ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB Certification, BLS

Must-Have :

• Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine
• Ability to perform nuclear medicine procedures across all age groups from infants to geriatrics under the supervision of the interpreting physician

Description :

Schedule is Monday to Friday with rotating weekly and holiday call.

Role includes rotation through General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, and Oncology PET / CT.

Responsible for providing diagnostic medical nuclear medicine services that are consistent with clinical education and training.

Demonstrate clinical competencies to perform various nuclear medicine procedures.

Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Must comply with required vaccinations and exemptions.
