Primary Job Responsibilities :
- The Technical Writer authors and edits standard operating procedures, user guides, quick reference guides, training manuals, after-action reports, and / or other IT-related documentation.
- Develop technical documentation in consultation with business analysts, systems analysts, testers, trainers, and programmers.
- Develop technical responses to RFPs in collaboration with the proposal and business development team.
- Coordinate with organizational teams for quality control and final production of documentation.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science), Professional Writing, or another language-related field.
- Experience writing technical documentation.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact frequently with technical research development personnel.
- Ability to work productively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
