RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a clean and valid driver's license.
• Drive the vehicle into position for loading and unloading.
• Load the vehicle with products and foods in manner ensuring goods are properly and securely stowed.
• Communicate with office.
• Able to lift 50 to 75 lbs on consistent basis.
• Able to bend, twist in repetitive fashion and be on feet for several hours.
• Vehicle check must be done daily and documentation must be completed and submitted daily.
• Hand in all gas receipts / cards upon getting gas.
• Must maintain an odometer log daily.
• Totally responsible for daily cleanings of vehicle.
• No other passengers allowed in vehicle unless authorized by manager.
• Must adhere to all motor vehicle laws and regulations.
• Whitsons is not responsible for any traffic violations while you are driving the company vehicle and are on company time.

If you receive a traffic violation, you will be responsible for the ticket.

• Must adhere to all location policies which include but are not limited to : time of delivery, parking, designated delivery areas and designated driving areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work School schedule Mon-Fri 7 : 30am - 2 : 00 pm .

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required Sit, walk, talk and hear
• Use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.

• Lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• The work is performed primarily in the central kitchen
• Standing most of the work day is required.
• Work requires movement in and out of store rooms, refrigerators and freezers
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• High School diploma
• A clean driver's license.
• Must be able to pass background check & drug screening

Mandatory fingerprinting screening

• One year of professional driving experience.
• Must be cautious of bad weather conditions that can make driving hazardous.
• Must be able to carry and lift objects weighing up to and above 50lbs.
• Must perform repetitive movement side to side, up and down in safe manner.

GENERAL REMINDERS

• Uniforms should be kept clean and neat at all times.
