Food Operator

Westby, WI

Night Shift : 5pm-5am

$19+ / hr

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate systems to clean and sanitize production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor processes, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of systems to ensure they are functioning effectively.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Keep accurate records of activities, including cleaning cycles, chemical usage, and equipment performance.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to schedule cycles in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Report any issues or deviations in performance to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Diligently follow company policies and procedures related to hygiene, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in operating systems in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, sanitation processes, and equipment operations.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring cleanliness and quality standards are met.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment, withstand working in a wet environment, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
