  • The Department of Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking Board Certified Academic Musculoskeletal, Nuclear Medicine Radiologists and Neuroradiologist in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
  • Academic Nuclear Medicine Radiologist*The candidate will be required to provide outstanding clinical services, including PET-CT services;
  • actively engage in teaching of residents and fellows; participate in quality improvement and value initiatives; initiate research projects;

and develop research collaborations across disciplines at Mount Sinai Health System. The candidate will apply expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine, including cross sectional imaging as it applies to SPECT / CT, PET / CT, and treatment with radiopharmaceuticals for targeted therapy.

The candidate will manage Phase 1-3 clinical trials, including statistical and clinical trial design, relying on knowledge of cancer biology, radiopharmacy, radiation safety, and the development of investigational radiopharmaceuticals.

Experience in cardiac PET is desirable. Nuclear Medicine Division of Nuclear Medicine at Mount Sinai is a regional and national leader in early implementation of theranostics and has a rapidly growing therapy program.

Mount Sinai Health System offers a PET / MR as well as several PET / CT and SPECT, SPECT / CT services at various sites in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Construction of three new radionuclide therapy suites at Mount Sinai Hospital is almost complete, second state-of-the art Siemens Vision PET / CT is delivered and being installed, and two new state-of-the art 64-slice SPECT / CT units will be installed soon.

Requirements : M.D. or M.D., Ph.D. and specialized research experience in diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine, including experience with cross sectional imaging.

Must be board-certified by ABNM, ABR / NR, or equivalent and have or be eligible for status of Authorized User of radioisotopes.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Compensation range from 260K to 334,327K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)*Neuroradiologist*The Department of Radiology of the Mount Sinai Health System and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board Certified Neuroradiologist for a full time academic and teaching position in its Division of Neuroradiology at the Mount Sinai Beth Israel and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.

The neuroradiology group is responsible for providing services for inpatient and outpatient practices at Mount Sinai West, Mount Sinai Morningside, Mount Sinai Kings Highway in addition to Mount Sinai Beth Israel and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Overnight attending coverage is provided by a separate, dedicated Emergency Radiology Section. Mount Sinai radiology uses low dose imaging with state-of-the-art imaging equipment to provide a full range of diagnostic radiology services in a patient-friendly environment.

treatment and prevention; and research. The Musculoskeletal Radiology section (8 members) is responsible for providing services for inpatient and outpatient practice at Main campus and Mount Sinai West / Downtown.

Proficiency in all aspects of Musculoskeletal radiology including MR, CT, Ultrasound, and MSK related ultrasound guided, fluoroscopic guided and CT guided procedures is preferred.

Our faculty is dedicated to clinical excellence and the education of both Main campus and Mount Sinai West / Downtown radiology residencies and a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship.

Compensation range from 350K to 500K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)*The Mount Sinai Brooklyn* Department of Radiology, and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Body Imager / General Radiologist for a full time position in its Division of Radiology.

The position is primarily hospital based, but includes shared oversight for the outpatient imaging center, KingsWay Diagnostic Imaging, directly across the street.

Mount Sinai Queens Hospital campus a 235-bed licensed acute care facility in Astoria, New York. Mount Sinai Queens provides adult medical and surgical services, with a team of nearly 500 physicians representing about 40 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties.
