Overview Schedule : Flexible Purpose Statement / Position Summary : Under the supervision of the HS and Behavioral Research Associate I, recruits project participants and administers structured and / or semi-structured questionnaire survey materials for multi-component HIV prevention research project (C2P) at off-site venues during data collection phase of project.

This position is responsible for data collection, and study documentation. In addition, the Research Associate I participates in staff meetings and activities for data collection only.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : Experience with interviewing and recruiting project participants preferred. Experience using ACASI interviewing tools preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of transgender care strongly preferred. Ability to speak and understand Spanish preferred. Knowledge of Latine cultural influences preferred.

Education / Licensure / Certification : High school diploma or equivalent. College education in related discipline preferred.

Valid California Driver’s License. Pay Scale Information $40.75-$40.75 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
