Special Education Teacher Needed Near Ypsilanti, MI
Soliant is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time position at a school district near Ypsilanti, MI.
This role involves working with elementary and middle school students, providing specialized support and instruction throughout the 2024-2025 school year.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver tailored instruction to elementary and middle school students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address each student's unique goals and requirements.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers to foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies.
- municate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications :
- Must hold a valid Special Education certification in Michigan.
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students in a special education setting.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
This full-time position begins on August 26th, 2024, and continues through June 6th, 2025, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
