Location : Syracuse, NY

Position Description :

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provide assistance in management of various vendors and subcontractors
• Maintain extensive client contact
• Liaise with field supervision to identify work opportunities, manage obstacles, and help push progress Layout / design and manage drawings and documents in Procore
• Partake in project meetings both internal & external
• Work with the Accounting department on billing, cash flow, financial projections, vendor & subcontractor invoice review and approval, and overall cost management and budgeting
• Prepare estimates / cost analyses for contractual scope, change orders, and bid estimate analysis
• Project manpower for projects on a weekly basis

Qualifications :

• Highly motivated team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Practical knowledge of construction
• Ability to work on tasks efficiently and prioritize work
• Estimating, McCormick a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, Procore; knowledge of Access software a plus
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Suite
• Ability to self-manage work, preferably via close communication with the project team
• Experience with Procore a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify potential projects prior to them becoming bigger issues
• Demonstrated experience in staying organized and following up on tasks
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

Annual Salary Range : $45,000 - $60,000
