About The Position
A facility is seeking a Thoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
Eastern Tennessee is a treasure trove of fun activities. You can immerse yourself in the vibrant music scene of Knoxville or Nashville, home to iconic venues like the Grand Ole Opry.
Nature enthusiasts can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, offering hiking, wildlife viewing, and scenic drives.
The position is at a 700-bed hospital with a Level 1 trauma center, requiring night shifts from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., following a 7-on, 7-off schedule.
Responsibilities include floor and ICU coverage, necessitating a background in cardiac and thoracic surgery, as well as handling patient calls, nurse calls, and consults during the night.
Temporary privileges are available for credentialing.
