PrintSynergy Solutions, Inc. is a small business in Brockton, MA. We are professional Commercial Printer and have been in business for over 30 years.
We are looking for a Pressroom Feeder to join our company. Someone who has worked on Heidelberg presses and has lots of experience with Heidelberg presses.
Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks :
- Work available is 5 days / 8hrs shift or nights 4 days / 10hrs shift
- Overtime when needed to meet customer needs and requirements
- Assist Press Operator in routine aspects of press, maintenance.
- Assists Press Operator in hanging plates on cylinder, loading and unloading paper from press, checks and fills ink fountains, registers jobs under Press Operator's instructions, greases and oils units, cleans and washes area around press, and ink fountains.
- Helps coordinate production jobs.
- Understands and is capable of completing production reports
- Assists in set-up of machines for operators.
- Performs preventative maintenance on press such as lubrication, replacement of small parts, cleaning and minor adjustments to rollers and other small moving parts.
- Cleans up and keeps immediate work area neat and orderly.
- Washes up press.
- Performs other tasks as requested by Press Operator
- Requires full attention and vigilance while on the job to ensure the safety of person(s) and quality of work.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Work positions include climbing, kneeling, squatting with extended reach above head and extended reach in front of body.
- Lift material up to 50lbs.
- Requires pushing loaded dollies weighing up to 500 pounds.
- Working on catwalks.
- Working with tools weighing up to 10 pounds in position above and below head.
