Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Job Requirements :
Current license or eligible for licensure for PTA in New York.
Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
New grads welcome.
Pay starts at $25 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
Job Type : Full-time
Job Summary :
The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for implementing treatments in accordance with the PT plan of care, providing instruction to patients and families.
May participate in teaching of physical therapy assistant students.
Measure & record residents motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
Observe and document on resident performance.
Treat residents with varieties of techniques, like stretching and massage, assist residents in carrying out specific exercises.
Provides quality, personalized and evidence-based care, and proven interventions.
