Responsibilities

• Conducta meticulous review of proposal specifications drawings andactively participate in prebid meetings to delineate the scope ofwork and essential elements of theestimate.
• Integrate historical data sourcedfrom purchase orders subcontracts and productivity analysis reportsinto unit and personhour figures to refine estimationaccuracy.
• Provide invaluable technical insightson project and contract risks to the lead estimator facilitatingfinal bid price approval and ensuring seamless alignment withoverarching project schedules and costobjectives.
• Execute disciplinespecificestimates through a thorough assessment of the scope of workconducting comprehensive takeoffs and meticulously calculatingmaterial quantity requirements from engineering drawingdimensions.
• Foster collaborative engagementswith clients vendors and stakeholders to formulate estimatesaddress concerns and swiftly resolve any emerging issues ensuringstreamlined projectprogression.

Qualifications

• BachelorsDegree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field isan imperative prerequisite.
• Demonstrableexpertise with a minimum of 5 years in the construction industrywith a pronounced focus on estimating or costcontrol.
• Profound knowledge and handsonexperience in alternative construction delivery methods to navigatemultifaceted project landscapesadeptly.
• Mandatory possession of company orregulatory certifications inclusive of safety certifications touphold the highest standards of compliance and operationalintegrity.
• Advanced proficiency in leveragingHCSS Heavy Bid Estimating Software to streamline estimationprocesses and enhance efficiency.
• Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal acumen to deliver clear cogentsupport for research recommendations and pricingstrategies.
• Strong command over technicalwriting coupled with a knack for effective time management andprioritization to meet stringent turnaround and biddeadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborateseamlessly and assume leadership roles in driving pursuit andestimating activities particularly within largescale or intricateprojects.

AdditionalResponsibilities

• Vigilantlymonitor client addenda and provide timely advisories to theestimating team on evolving changes during the estimate periodensuring adaptability andresponsiveness.
• Contribute substantively to theevaluation of design review options offering astute recommendationsaligned with costeffectiveness engineering quality and materialavailability.
• Actively collaborate with theestimating team to meticulously orchestrate project handoffmeetings between the pursuit team and project management teamfostering seamless transitions and alignment ofobjectives.
• Undertake diligent researchendeavours to identify and recommend optimal vendors andsubcontractors for designated scopes of work fostering synergisticpartnerships to achieve pursuit and costgoals.
• Uphold a comprehensive understanding ofthe companys values and strategic imperatives aligning operationalendeavours with overarching organizationaldirectives.
• Diligently support and ensureadherence to published corporate policies thereby reinforcing aculture of accountability and operational excellence throughout theorganization.

The salary range forthis fulltime role is USD $155000 $185000 / year.
