About The Position
Job Title : OR Technologist Job Specialty : Operating Room / Scrub, Surgical Technologist, Orthopedic Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Guaranteed 36 hours per week;
no nights, call, or holidays. These shifts are not 12-hour shifts. Guaranteed Hours : 36 Experience : Preferred experience in Ortho, General Surgery, ENT, Endo, and Podiatry.
License : N / A Certifications : N / A Must-Have : Knowledge of AORN guidelines and recommended practices. Job Description : Provide a safe, clean, and decontaminated environment for surgical patients.
- Ensure compliance with AORN guidelines and recommended practices.- Support surgical staff during orthopedic surgeries and other specialties such as General Surgery, ENT, Endo, and Podiatry.
- Maintain all surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are sterilized and functioning properly.- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
- Participate in continuous education and training to maintain expertise in the field.- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
