Government Compliance Site Lead

Job Description

The Government Compliance Site Lead will oversee and support compliance activities across DoD Collateral and Special Access Programs.

This role involves developing, administering, and auditing security programs to ensure adherence to government regulations, corporate policies, and contractual security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Security Program Management : Develop, execute, and audit security programs to ensure compliance with federal regulations governing classified material and export-controlled data.

Regulatory Compliance : Study and implement federal security regulations, including SAP security rules (DoDM / JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD), and DoD security rules (NISPOM).

Ensure adherence to corporate and customer policies.

Collaboration : Work closely with the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), and other security personnel to ensure program compliance.

Government Liaison : Interface with U.S. Government customers to obtain contract execution approvals, seek security rulings, and address deviations.

Program Support : Manage quality, schedule, and cost expectations for program development and execution while ensuring compliance with security requirements.

Documentation & Training : Prepare implementation manuals detailing procedures for handling classified materials. Conduct security education and training sessions.

Incident Management : Investigate security violations, prepare reports, and recommend preventive actions.

Risk Management : Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues, communicating observations and recommendations to leadership.

Clearance Processing : Handle the processing of security clearances, customer visits, and provide support for classified meetings.

Qualifications>

• Extensive experience in security program management within DoD Collateral and Special Access Programs.
• In-depth knowledge of federal security regulations, including DoDM / JSIG, ICD, and NISPOM.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage complex security programs and apply risk-managed solutions to security challenges.

Desired skills

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and / or equivalent experience.

Highly motivated self-starter that can multi-task and takes initiative to assume responsibilities.

Knowledge of and experience with the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA).

Experience in both DoD Collateral and Special Access Program
