Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, with a focus on self-protection capabilities.

Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, aircraft certification requirements, and customer specifications.

Design and develop hardware and interface specifications for the Mission Systems self-protection capability onboard the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform.

Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met, with a specific focus on self-protection effectiveness.

Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with specified requirements.

Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle, providing support and troubleshooting as needed.

Research specific technology advances for potential application to address company business needs and enhance the self-protection capabilities of the Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform.

Focus on hardware qualification and aircraft certification processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration and testing of Mission Systems self-protection hardware and software.

Work closely with customers, including the US, UK, Korea, Turkey, Australia, and others, to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Strong understanding of electronic and electrical system design principles.

Knowledge of hardware qualification and aircraft certification processes.

Proficiency in analyzing and translating complex requirements into practical system designs.

Experience in testing and validating system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met, with a specific focus on self-protection effectiveness.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide support and troubleshooting for fielded hardware and software.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, ensuring customer satisfaction and program success.

Pay Range : $62.00 - $72.00 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
