Summary :
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, performsduties of a clerical and non-nursing nature on the nursing units.Activities include serving as a receptionist for the unit,transcribing orders and requesting items for patient care, andassisting with maintaining patient, unit, and hospitalrecords.
CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - WestoverHills (CSRH-WH) is a 150-bed hospital serving the fastest growingarea of San Antonio.
Specialized care includes orthopedic andsurgical services, ICU, women’s services, a newborn nursery,comprehensive cardiovascular care from diagnostics to open heartsurgery, vascular lab, sleep center, emergency services, theCHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation, andmore.
The campus also boasts an Outpatient Imaging Center and threemedical plazas, one of which houses our CHRISTUS Santa Rosa FamilyMedicine Residency Program and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family HealthCenter.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduation from an approved unit clerk programor previous experience as a unit secretary ispreferred.
- CPR certification ispreferred.
