Position Summary
Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of gas and diesel equipment in our recently expanded maintenance facility.
You will be tasked with making mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on equipment such as light and heavy trucks, excavators, loaders, skid steers, small engines, and more.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance / machine inspections
- Troubleshoot issues with gas & diesel engines
- Determine parts & tools necessary for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
- Complete service paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 3 years minimum experience with heavy truck or diesel / heavy equipment repair
- Manual dexterity
- Welding experience (preferred, not required)
- Annual DOT experience (preferred, not required)
- Class A License (preferred, we do have an employee re-payment program to those who wish to attain)
Other
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & background check
- Must be able to maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Must be flexible regarding work hours

Employee is exposed to environmental conditions, working near machines and loud noises associated with construction sites.
