Requirements :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state SLP licensure
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with special education students and families preferred
- Ability to meet all requirements set by local and state regulations
Job Duties :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social-emotional development
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job performance
