Under the direction of the Manager Director or othersenior personnel the Project Manager determines user demandsestablishes work priorities and plans;
directs and monitors projectwork. Supports Information System related business planningrequirements including but not limited to budgeting scheduling andworkload planning.
Maintains project issues and reports toInformation System management and local steering teams on progressof critical path items.
Reports project status and accomplishments.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. TheProject Manager will gather and evaluate information concerning ausers conceptual needs estimate and schedule project activities andassociated costs coordinate and participate inanalysis / design / coding activities ensure that system changes arefully tested ensure users are fully trained and prepared associatedguideline and procedure requirements are met and coordinateimplementation of the changes.
Roles& Responsibilities :
Responsible to manage multiple large sizeprojects.
Responsible for analyzingunderstanding business requirements vendor statement of works andother form of requirement documents to clearly outline projectartifacts.
Expected to manage multipleprojects by maintaining the high level of quality in terms ofdeliverables implementation and customer experience.
Responsible to manage complex enterprise level projectswith minimal oversight. Enterprise level projects include severalministries / locations.
Project Manager is responsible to bring inright leadership resources vendors and all stakeholders together toorganize and facilitate project kickoff.
Senior PMs are responsible to make sure PPMO processes followedartifacts are developed and saved at the appropriate documentationrepository.
Sr. PMs are to ensure allprojects documentation has been followed and ready for externalaudit on PPMO processes and procedures.
Responsible for creating Charter Project Plan Budget Tracker RACIWeekly Status Reports Project Steering Committee and presentationmaterials GLRA and Change Management processes.
Responsible for establishing critical path milestonesand reporting the status to the executive leadership on a regularbasis.
Must develop concrete project planbefore moving project to implementation. Lead and track the projectprogress by the project plan.
Not acceptable to manage projectswithout project plan.
Responsible foridentifying dependencies risks ahead of time work with respectivestakeholders to create mitigation plan and actively monitor andreport the progress.
Adhere to PPMOdepartment policies procedures and documentation requirements. Allprojects and documentations are subject to internal / external auditsmust need to maintain meticulous documentation.
Minimum Qualifications :
8 10 years of experience as a PM
MUST havehealthcare experience
PMI Certification stronglypreferred
Requirement; FollowingEPIC modules implementation experience as a Project Manager forlarge Healthcare Systems is a MUST.
EPIC Radiant OpTime Cupid) Epic certificationspreferred.
