Qualifications :
Education / Certification : Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university. Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA) or Bachelors degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate
Job Details :
Responsibilities : Conduct evaluations, provide therapy, and participate in ARD committees to assess and support students with speech or language disorders, develop management strategies, and set goals in line with IEPs.
Consult with colleagues, students, and parents, collaborate with teachers, provide professional development, manage student behavior, oversee program management, and comply with relevant policies and regulations, including supervising support staff if needed.
