About The Position

ID : 50850830 Shift : 11 : 00 AM-11 : 30 PM Description : Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce Diagnostic C.

T. Scans and diagnostic radiographs, under indirect supervision. Ensures all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner.

Evaluates images with Radiologist, takes additional images as needed or requested. Assists with procedures of an invasive nature.

Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.Minimum Education Required : -Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.Experience & Training Required : -One (1) year Radiology Technology experience preferred.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications : -Must have CT registry-Manual dexterity sufficient to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, apply and adjust restraining devices and administer intravenous injections of contrast.

• Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians and other hospital employees.-Ability to lift and position patients.
• Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures.-Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records.
• Ability to initiate CPR and (CPR Certification).-Population Specific Competency : Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients / customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

Unit Description : This would be a Fulltime evening shift job working either 10 hours (noon 10 : 30 pm) or 12 hours (11 am 11 : 30 pm) and rotating weekends.

Work days are scheduled where you have a few days off together. Rotating weekends and no holidays.No on call requirements works with Toshiba / Cannon equipment work 3 days off 1 and then work 3 more.

Then the following week they are off 3 days work 1 and off 3 more. The schedule rotates this way for the duration of their assignment.

In efforts to cause the least amount of disruption in the department would she possibly be interested in our current 10 and 12 hour rotations?

I like to do cluster schedules with rotating 10's and 12's. This makes their days off very predictable, so they can plan their PTO accordingly and still have plenty of down time that they won't have to use PTO for.
