A non-profit in New York is currently seeking a new Data Analyst to join their Organizational Learning & Development team in New York City. Learn more!

Responsibilities :

The Data Analyst will :

  • Manage active data collection across the organization
  • Work with each department to document and share performance data in a timely fashion for quarterly submissions to our organization-wide dashboard"
  • Improve organizational dashboard to be more automated and interactive (exploring tools, including Tableau, which are cost effective and less manual)
  • Assess data collection needs and develop tailored responses
  • Partner across the Office of the Executive Vice President, including with the Strategic Initiatives team, to collaborate on the development of strategic communications materials including data visualizations and annual reports
  • Assess internally available data and use it to build, maintain, and update maps
  • Assist with the design and delivery of organization-wide training on data and results using a Results Count model

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with coursework in data analysis, research methodology, or related subjects
  • 2+ years of experience in data collection, data management, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and creation of analytical products
  • Expert level user of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with database software and SPSS (or comparable) analytic software strongly preferred
  • Strong competency with basic software applications (Microsoft Office Suite) required
