ATCS is seeking a senior-level Transportation Construction Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong project management and client experience as a trusted advisor to facilitate delivery of Construction Projects and Programs.

This individual will, ideally, be local to the DC-Baltimore metro area.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate management and delivery of construction operations on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Support Business development duties for major project / contract pursuits when necessary;
  • Serve as a constructability and QA / QC lead when necessary, support refinement of ATCS Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) plan and ensure its application and consistency across all offices for all project deliverables and products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Strong leadership skills and 25+ years of experience desired managing construction operations in the areas of traditional design-bid-build, alternative delivery, and P3 projects;
  • Virginia PE license required; PE in additional ATCS markets preferred (Md, NC, SC, PA, etc.);
  • Demonstrated relationships with clients, as well as other local engineering firms, with the ability to provide exceptional client interface and service delivery;
  • Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Active in professional organizations, preferably having served on committees or held positions of responsibility;
  • DOT project delivery experience in Virginia and Maryland a huge plus;
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $155,500 to $233,500 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The role is also eligible for an annual management bonus, with a target of 10% to 15% of the employee's annualized salary.
