THE POSITION

The Vice President of Operations will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the project management team, procurement, virtual design & construction (VDC), and field operations.

This role is crucial in driving operational excellence and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The VP of Operations will develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company’s mission to deliver quality, profitable jobs while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.

By leading a dynamic team, this position will focus on achieving operational goals, fostering innovation, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to support the company's growth and success.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Build and maintain a skilled team capable of executing projects with a high degree of quality and profitability.
• Ensure that the team is well-managed, and members are held accountable for their responsibilities.
• Oversee the entire project management process, including planning, execution, and delivery to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring that all projects meet or exceed client expectations.
• Address and resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve goals and metrics.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Focus on efficiency, productivity, and innovation in all operational aspects.
• Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure that all operations adhere to industry standards and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Proven experience in a senior operations role
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction
• In-depth knowledge of project management, procurement, VDC, and field operations.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and retain a technical team, with a strong focus on accountability and team performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and with clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and resolve issues swiftly.
