LinQuest is seeking a Systems Engineer / Mission Analytics Team Lead to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. Successful candidates should have experience developing and implementing automation, machine learning, and analysis products to solve various problems across multiple domains.
Experience and familiarity with the space domain is preferred. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Responsibilities :
Day to day this person will be leading a team of data scientists and analysts and helping them deploy software solutions.
This person will also be personally responsible to develop and deploy software tools as well. The role is more software engineering but strong analysis skills are needed to effectively lead analysts.
- Understanding customer requirements, adjusting development efforts and techniques to meet those requirements, and effectively communicating results
- Developing and implementing algorithms, data structures and applications to solve various problems across multiple domains
- Ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives
- Mentor junior developers and Operations Research analysts on current software lifecycle best practices
- Work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor of Science degree in operations research, computer science, or related technical field
