Payroll Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing all aspects of payroll operations, with a particular emphasis on Certified Payroll Reports and Union payroll.

This role requires a highly organized individual with a strong grasp of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and reporting mandates associated with unionized workforces.

Responsibilities

Certified Payroll Reports : Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of Certified Payroll Reports in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Union Payroll Management : Oversee the payroll process for union employees, including adherence to collective bargaining agreements and processing of union dues and benefits.

Compliance : Stay current with changes in payroll compliance laws and regulations, ensuring the company's payroll practices remain compliant.

Payroll Processing : Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle including data entry, payroll calculations, and dispersal for all employees.

Audit and Reconciliation : Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and rectify any discrepancies promptly.

Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and excellence.

Reporting and Analysis : Generate detailed payroll reports and analytics for internal review and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll, with proven expertise in Certified Payroll Reports and Union payroll.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.

Skills : Strong proficiency in payroll software and systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and advanced knowledge of payroll regulations.

Certifications : Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.

Communication : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex payroll concepts clearly and concisely.

Attention to Detail : Unwavering commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in all payroll-related tasks.
