Position : Interim CEO
Location : Torrance, CA (must reside within driving distance)
Type : Part-Time (2-3 days a week)
Compensation : Equity Only
Start Date : Immediate
Role Overview : The company seeks a dynamic and visionary Interim CEO to lead it through a pivotal phase of growth and innovation.
The Interim CEO will be responsible for overseeing the business operations, relaying the vision of the Board of Directors to a dedicated team of scientists and technicians, and supporting the organization in its commercialization efforts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership to ensure goals and objectives are met.
- Communicate and implement the vision of the Board of Directors to all employees.
- Facilitate and support the commercialization of the company's scientific innovations.
- Ensure effective and efficient operation of the company's business functions.
- Report directly to the Board of Directors, providing updates on progress and strategic initiatives.
Requirements :
- Experience in capturing and executing government contracts.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a science or technology-driven company.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work part-time (2-3 days a week) on-site in Torrance, CA.
- Comfortable with equity-only compensation.
- Open to the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance.
