Facility is currently looking for Full Time and Part Time Positions. Let us help you begin your health care career and join our team to become a state tested nurse aide at our state of the art, skilled nursing facility.
This rewarding position allows you the opportunity to be trained in providing direct care to the patients in the facility and to understand how to work with residents and resident families during the care delivery process.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS :
The team member during this prior to training period, has some limitation to the direct / physical patient care they can provide.

- The position is part of the Nurse Aide Training Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP)
- Once this team member completes the nurse aide classes and required clinical work, the team member is considered a Nurse Aide in Training (NAT).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer call lights
- Pass ice and water to patients between meals. Assist with hydration cart and HS snack pass
- Assist with making patient beds
- Assist with laundry portion of STNA job :
- Mark personal items (i.e. toothbrush, denture cups, toothpaste, etc) to prevent cross contamination
- Set dining room tables (linens and silver ware) in prep for meal service
- Perform one on one visits / companionship with patients
- Complete any other non-direct care task assigned by nurse or unit manager
- Assist with activities if no other nursing related activities are needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Has a sincere desire to work with the elderly.
- Wants to learn and grow in the healthcare field
- Meets the eligibility requirements to work in a skilled nursing facility.
