Interim ED Director Needed in Sanford, NC!

An Interim ED Director is needed to lead and stabilize the Emergency Department at Central Carolina Hospital. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee approximately 40 FTEs. Key responsibilities include guiding clinical operations, improving patient satisfaction, overseeing throughput, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and coaching leadership staff. The ideal candidate will have hands on emergency department leadership experience, strong change management skills, and a proven track record of improving quality metrics and team engagement. Must be highly organized, patient focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2 3 weeks of acceptance.

Bachelor's degree required. Must hold an active RN license; ACLS and HWC certifications are required. Must have previous leadership experience in Emergency Medicine.

Compensation Range : $160,000 to $170,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
