Travel Registered Nurse - Step Down - Relocation to Memphis, TN

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Our Step Down Unit provides care for patients transitioning from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) but still requiring close monitoring and support.

As a Step Down RN, you will play a crucial role in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients, offering high-quality care and compassionate support.

Position : Travel Registered Nurse

Location : Memphis, Tennessee

Schedule : Day (5x8 Hours) 7 : 00 15 : 30

Unit : Step-Down

Requirements :

• RN license in State of Assignment or compact license
• 2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel
• Must live 100 miles from facility
• Covid Vaccine

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Step-Down Unit, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing necessary medical procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and complies with hospital policies.
• Respond to patient emergencies, providing immediate and effective interventions.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.

Requirements

Do you have a min of 2 years experience as a travel nurse or a min of 3 yrs exp. in nursing?
