1st Shift : Monday-Thursday, 6am-4 : 30pm with overtime available on Fridays
Job Description
Under some supervision, coordinates operations through interaction with operations management
Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc
based on direction from Operations management.
Looking for someone with prior experience in warehouse operating, pulling work orders (parts), and receiving and putting parts back
Forklift experience is not needed
This position currently won't require it, and if it does in the future, the person will need to go through certification as previous certification is not accepted in this role
This is not a typical warehouse position
The main responsibility of this position is kitting new and used parts - so pulling parts, kitting, putting away kits in proper area based on tickets
There is a mandatory inventory count at the end of October that this position will be required to participate in.

Follows all applicable standard work, work instruction / process documentation and established quality procedures

Performs quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices
Identifies and controls non-conforming material
Delivery
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label / package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space
Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations
Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills
Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard
Teamwork
Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams
Ensures training completion in line with business requirements
Seeks ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development
Ensures clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and supports planned operator care and maintenance tasks
Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals
Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.
