We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our finance team and help take our company to the next level.

This role is integral to our financial future, and we need someone who can not only crunch the numbers but also lead our financial department with integrity and transparency.

This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment, requiring strategic thinking, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in accounting and financial management and will have experience in managing and developing a team.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

2. Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and actual expenditures.

3. Coordinate all audit activity and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.

4. Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

5. Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing programs, and proposed new sites.

6. Leverage insights from financial trends and forecast to advise on budgeting and financial planning.

7. Develop and implement financial management strategies, including risk management.

8. Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies across all segments of the business.

9. Develop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.

10. Implement a robust contracts management and financial management / reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally with at least two years in a Controller role.

3. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

4. High attention to detail and accuracy.

5. Ability to direct and supervise.

6. Solid understanding of financial analysis and forecasting.

7. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).

8. An analytical mind with strategic abilities.

9. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

10. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

11. A proven track record of managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

12. Strong experience in financial auditing and setting up internal controls.
