Senior Network Engineer (Route and Switch)

The Senior Network Engineer will work with other Client engineers and architects to provide secure, flexible, and innovative ways to help meet customer needs in assuring patient care.

The CX Architecture team focusses on solutions and technologies to help customers plan, build, deploy and migrate highly reliable and secure networks.

You will be on-site with the customer supporting operations activities, change windows, troubleshooting, and working with Client TAC to solve problems.

Workspace activities will include day-to-day moves, adds, and network changes.

Key Skills :

• Routing & Switching : Understanding of LAN Switching, Layer 2 troubleshooting
• Understanding of L3 routing protocols used in enterprise environments (BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP)
• Client Software Defined Access (SDA / SDWAN / FiaB)
• Wireless - Solid understanding of the Client Wireless LAN controller and understanding of Client Catalyst Center (formerly DNAC) for Wireless (i.

e., RF Design and WLAN implementation)

• Must be verse in SDA and SDWAN. Must also demonstrate competencies in Cisco wireless technology and Cisco ISE in order to offer complete tie-in in support of the optimized deployment of Cisco Route Switch Technologies.
• Must have strong technical leadership skills, be well versed in in Client SDA / SDWAN technologies, share operational values of a customer organization, and be comfortable working within the C-Suite of a customer HQ facility.

Nice to have :

• Cisco certifications are highly desired (i.e., Client CCIE R&S).
• Cisco Secure Access (ISE)
• Cisco Prime Infrastructure
• Cisco Catalyst Center Network management (DNAC)
• Infoblox Automation and Security
• Experience in enterprise network planning, design, implementation work within a healthcare environment is a plus.

Job Summary :

• Provide Route & Switch Engineering Support to Healthcare Client Team.
• Fundamental emphasis will be assuring the successful deployment and continued optimization of Cisco SDA as a central management and automation solution at healthcare facilities.
• The selected candidate will work with other subject matter experts and engineers, Sr. Architects, and Sr. Leadership in the deployment of SDA / SDWAN in a large, complex healthcare network as a management platform for SDA and existing networks.
• Candidate will be responsible for planning, deploying, implementation, advising, consulting, and providing proactive, or reactive, support to the customer organization.
