Job Title : Self-Directed Employee (SDE)

About the Role :
Are you looking to make a meaningful difference in someone's life? A person in Brick, NJ, is seeking a Self-Directed Employee (SDE) to assist with various tasks that promote independence and community engagement.
This role involves helping with daily living activities such as preparing dinner, assisting with laundry, supporting community outings, and helping the individual get ready for bed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare dinner and assist with meal planning.
- Assist with laundry and other household chores.
- Support the individual in accessing their community, including using public transportation like Access Link.
Assist with bedtime routines.
- Assist with daily living skills.
- Additional duties as defined by the individual.
Qualifications :
- Positive attitude, open-mindedness, and flexibility.
- Person-centered approach with a focus on encouragement and creativity.
- Knowledge of gaming and computers is a plus.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; a college degree or current college enrollment is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Schedule of Services :
Monday-Friday : 5pm-9 pm
Saturday and Sunday : 9am-3pm
Compensation :
Starting : $20 per hour
