JOB SUMMARY :
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Media Engineering team, focusing on the development and integration of our unified Disney Media Player for Apple devices and News products.
This role involves close collaboration with both the Disney Media Player Apple team and News Player Enablement team, as well as coordination across various teams to align the player roadmap for our News vertical.
The successful candidate will translate product and technical ideas into engineering requirements and partner with Engineering and Product Management for successful product or feature launches.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Partner with the Disney Media Player Apple team and News Player Enablement team to develop and integrate the unified Disney Media Player.
Manage Media Logic during playback for Apple devices and integration into News products.
Collaborate with peer client teams to manage and align the overall player roadmap for the News vertical.
Translate product and technical ideas into detailed engineering requirements.
Ensure successful launch of products or features by coordinating with all impacted teams and partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Proven expertise in Program Management within a technical or media engineering environment.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across different teams.
Experience in product strategy and translating concepts into engineering requirements.
Industry Experience Required :
Experience in the media or streaming industry, especially with a focus on media players and Apple device integration, is highly preferred.
